The Tariro family hosted a very important Thanksgiving annual event on Saturday the 6th of June 2026 — a day filled with gratitude, worship, testimony, and celebration of progress.
We were blessed to welcome visitors from different places, including brethren from the Anglican Church. Their presence made the day even more special.
Once everyone settled down, the Eucharistic Service began at 10:30am and was celebrated by Rev Canon Mutasa. As always, we delivered beautiful singing that lifted spirits and set the tone for the day.
During the Mass, some of the older members of the Tariro Youth Project (TYP) family were given the opportunity to speak words of gratitude. They shared our journey through both challenges and victories. This progress would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our beloved sponsors, donors, and well-wishers. May God continue to bless and multiply your kindness.
The Mass ended at 1:00pm. Gifts from our beloved ones were then presented to Tariro Youth Project family members, and we sincerely appreciated their generosity and continued support.
As a Youth project, we are also focused on learning new skills to sustain ourselves. We showcased projects we’re currently running, including rearing chickens and making detergents. We had time to market and sell our products, and we were excited that everything went so smoothly.
Lunch was then served at around 1:30pm and the food was delicious as always, everybody enjoyed fellowship around the table. Heartfelt appreciation to everyone who prepared the food. Their hard work made lunch delicious and memorable.
The program finally came to an end and people dispersed in peace, carrying hearts full of thanksgiving.
