The TYP Christmas party celebration began with a burst of melodious carols at 11.30am that set the tone for a day of warmth and cheer. The TYP choir’s harmonious voices filled the venue, instantly lifting spirits and reminding everyone of the season’s true meaning.
After the uplifting opening, the program moved to a lively quiz coordinated by Mary Tumushime and Grandma Tumushime that proved both challenging and refreshing. Teams battled it out with enthusiasm, and the winners were rewarded with well‑deserved prizes, adding an extra sparkle of competition to the festivities.
A delicious lunch followed, offering a variety of tasty dishes that left everyone feeling satisfied and grateful. The meal was more than just food; it was a moment of togetherness, with laughter and conversation flowing as freely as the drinks.
Post‑lunch, the celebration continued with another round of carols, this time accompanied by a special gifting ceremony led by the beloved “sweet Grandma Tumushime”, whose kindness shone as brightly as the decorations. The day wrapped up with a group photo, mingling, and a heartfelt closing prayer delivered by Canon Mutasa, marking a perfect end to a memorable TYP Christmas gathering.
