Kelvin has done us proud again! He sat for his final Advanced level examinations in November of 2017 and scored 18 points. His results were as follows:
- Mathematics: A
- Physics: A
- Biology: B
- Chemistry: B
- English Language and Communication Skills: Pass(3)
He was the overall best student at Mt Pleasant High School.
Back in January of 2017, Kelvin was elected into United Students Achievers Program (USAP) cohort of 42 students across Zimbabwe. This program has been assisting Kelvin to apply to colleges in the United States of America. Kelvin applied to 3 different colleges namely Vassar, Williams and Swarthmore. He applied to Vassar College under the Early Decision program and the college saw that his credentials make him a perfect candidate for acceptance but he had to submit his final A level transcript for the final decision to be made in late March. He also applied to Williams and Swarthmore colleges under the Regular Decision program and the decisions on his candidacy will be made before the 1st of April 2018. Kelvin is set to leave for his studies in August of 2018.
