On the 14th of August 2023 , a Heroes Day in Zimbabwe , we spent the day at Danai children’s Home . We had a wonderful time with our siblings. They gave us a warm welcome, and we immediately felt at home.

We aim to link our actions with this year’s theme ;ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE, and endeavor to walk the talk.God performs wonderful things in our daily lives, and we are extremely thankful for His unwavering, eternal love. He blesses us in order for us to bless others.

We had time to help our little brothers and sisters with self esteem and confidence sessions , to do laundry, wash the dishes, make lunch, chop firewood, clean the house, read novels and write assignments, play trivia games, and dance to the music.Yes, it was a lovely time.

With the support of our beloved mother sister Anna, we also conducted bible study and sang interesting songs and choruses from our TYP hymn sheets. She shared with us important things about how God loves children and how we should always act morally.

We give God praise for his love and enduring blessings, and we look forward to seeing our siblings soon.
